Have no fear…Hunter Photography is still here!
The lease on our Hot Iron Studio has come to a close and we are very very sad that we have to say goodbye to such a beautiful space. We had such a great year organizing and hosting events, everything from the Beer Art Show to Hot Iron Handmade to our final show Pastiche and Provenance. We will also miss having such an ideal location to work in…but don’t fret! Hunter Photography is alive and well! In fact, this is the perfect time of year for outdoor portrait sessions with everything blooming. I love WNC this time of year!

Hunter Photography is doing Maternity Photos!
Capturing those last few weeks before baby is born is definitely a keepsake that every mom should have. It is also special to be able to have those images to share with your child when he/she is old enough to understand where he/she was just before they came into the world! Also, it is just fun to reminisce on how BIG those beautiful pregnant bellies get! Contact me for an easygoing and affordable photo session!

Support the Mango Fund
I found poor little Mango over a week in AWFUL shape, horrible ear infections, fleas, matted hair so bad that I couldn’t tell where her skin and hair met, starving, and depressed. She is now in very good hands but times are hard and the vet bills are high! We want to help Mango and know that if we take her to the animal shelter in Asheville, she will likely be euthanized. So, we are trying to get her healthy on our own and give her a good life, if not with us…with a VERY LOVING HOME. If you would like to donate money to the Mango Fund, please send any amount to sarahnixhunter@gmail.com via paypal or 126 Green Ridge Road Weaverville, NC 28787. If you donate $20 or higher, I will send you Leaf Wine Charms!!! Please let me know if you have any questions. My mission in life is to do what I can to help all of the neglected animals I can!
Call for Entries! The “I LOVE ASHEVILLE BEER” Art Show
As I was ordering a growler of Houdini at Asheville Pizza and Brewing Company, I suddenly became sad. My love for local beer overflows like a beer on tap in a pint glass yet other than drinking Pisgah Pale Ale on a regular basis and talking about my love for it, I am not really a part of this local beer culture as much as I want to be . Then the idea came to me! Lets give Asheville the opportunity to express their love and devotion to the Asheville beer scene by way of hosting an art show! So, pour a cold one and get creative! Details are at www.hotironstudios.com.
Grand Opening
Asheville’s First Friday Art Walk in April was the perfect opportunity for Hot Iron Studios to open it’s doors. It was a huge success. Thank you all for coming!
